Blogs that follow links in comments. Spam comments used to provide a method for commenters to get links counted by the search engines. So a "solution" of tagging all blog comments with a nofollow attribute (which meant search engines didn't follow the link - or give the link to site "credit") was suggested and implemented (in software like Blogger, Wordpress and Typepad) to automatically nofollow comments. However, if bloggers approve comments appropriately those comments are just as worthwhile as other text and therefor treating those links as "real" links is worthwhile.
